#TalkingTuesdays is a monthly Twitter debate which has been running since 2010 created and hosted by I’mPOSSIBLE to give time for open, effective dialogue on how our followers truly see the world and it’s events as well as positively interact with one another.  This year, we’ve revamped the format and taken the debate to Google Hangout.  Sticking with the same successful formula, but adding a rotating, well-informed, opinionated panel with your views – the debate is getting bigger, more interactive and global.

Watch live here.

The questions we’ll be discussing in this month’s edition are as follows, you can give your opinion by tweeting us using the hashtag #TalkingTuesdays or the Q&A facility on the Hangout:

Sherryl BluSherryl Blu is a London based creative.  Unafraid, forthright, vivacious and outgoing are just some of the words that describe Sherryl.  Sherryl has spent the last four years presenting her own radio show as well as hosting a variety of live events from music gigs to topical debates.  As a writer and journo-blogger, Sherryl has published a book of poetry and has also held down the position of Arts & Entertainment editor for Evolve Magazine as well as contributing to various other online publications on a regular basis.  Sherryl regularly updates her blog that allows her to express her opinion on a range of entertainment based news stories at The Rinse.

Sheryl NwosuSheryl Nwosu is a junior barrister currently practising in central London.

Her decision to become an advocate or Barrister was motivated in part by some of the social injustices she observed and perceived whilst growing up on what was described as a “socially and economically deprived” housing estate in North West London; having been told that even if she did pass the “notoriously difficult” Bar entrance exams that the Bar was a difficult profession for a woman she decided that this was the profession for her; she always states that she has never thought of her background, sex or colour as a bar to her ambitions or to what she knew she was going to achieve.

Her professional background as a courtroom advocate has seen her described as fearless and bold in that arena, these are attributes which she continuously advocates to the young people she engages with professionally and otherwise.  Motivated by the desire to see young people of all backgrounds reach their full limitless potential Sheryl regularly gives inspirational and motivational talks to young people in schools, Pupil Referral Units and other youth groups; these talks focus not only on legal matters but also on empowering young people with life lessons to enable them firstly to accept, believe in and then aim for their personal goals.
